Today, Geotourism is increasingly growing with emphasazing geological and geomorphological phenomena. In result,identifying and evaluating these natural phenomenon as tourism purpose can be help in regional developing. Therefor the purpose of this article is to evaluate the potential of Espahbod Khorshid Cave, the forest and the surrounding river in the low-lying area of Savadkuh city in the Talar watershed for tourism and job creation. To do this, a descriptive-analytical method including library and field studies was used. To achieve this goal, topographic maps, geology and information from field visits and questionnaires were used as primary information and research tools. Then, this information was analyzed by Peralong and Cochin methods. The results of Pralong method showed that Espahbod Khorshid cave, as the most famous cave in Mazandaran province, has the highest score (0.74) in terms of tourism and Khatirkuh forest and river with a score of 0.55and 0.51 respectively are in the second and third ranks in terms of tourism value. In terms of productivity, the score of Espahbod Khorshid Cave and Khatir Kuh River is equal and indicates the high potential of these two places for tourism.Also,the productivity quality score of cave (31) and Khatirkuh forest and river has been calculated 0.25. The average productivity value of Khatirkuh river is 0.65 cave is 0.59 and forest is 0.53 in terms of tourism value. Based on the results of Kuchin method, Espahbod Khorshid cave with a final value of 18.5, Khatirkuh river with a final value of 16.75 and the forest around the cave with a final value of 11.75 are in the priority of investment and development of tourism industry, respectively.
