The Aliabad marble area is located in 16 km from Orzuiyeh city, Kerman province, as part of the Hajiabad ophiolite sequence, it has a lithology of white and massive marbles, micaschist and ultramafic rocks; which have shown different behaviors under the influence of compressive and tensile stresses and reverse faulting. The region's structures indicate that the principal direction of compression was NE–SW, while a tensional or extensional component existed in the direction perpendicular to it. The action of its compressional regime is manifested in the form of reverse-thrust faults, and the action of these faults has caused the thrusting of the white marble unit onto the ultrabasic unit. The entire rock complex is affected by Zagros fault, which is the most important structural factor of the region. The white marble and massif units, due to their initial mechanical strength, have shown brittle behavior, which has been exposed in the form of fractures, corrosion faults, regular and irregular joint networks, and stylolite. The effects of extensional regimes are observable in this region in the form of extensional structures and openings, shear deformation, as well as extensional joints and filled veins. In order to investigate the joint and fault systems and also the affecting the block extractability, a stereogram of these systems was drawn and 10 cores were taken to a depth of 30 meters, and it was determined that karstification and dissolution processes had left their impact to a depth of 15 meters. By quantifying the structural factors and drawing a diagram We conclude, the stress performance and the effect of tectonic factors in white and massive marble rocks are developed up to a depth of 25 meters and from this depth onwards, it shows a significant decrease and after this depth, the rock reaches an approximate integrity.
