With the increasing urban development, construction waste is a big problem for urban life. finding a suitable burial place in Yazd is an important necessity. Recognizing the environmental impacts of urban development can be effective in improving the quality of urban environment and planning of the future of the city; Iranian modified Leopold matrix for the study of the horizontal development of Yazd city and the environmental impacts of this urban development, Used. The air has the most negative effect and economics has the most positive effect on horizontal development activities. Activities in the field of population settlement, land clearing and excavation-embankment have the most negative effects on the environment. Determining the optimal location of sanitary-engineering is desirable with the conditions and steps in which the optimal performance of each of them is effective in the final result. To find location of waste landfill, after studying and analyzing different types of spatial location methods, effective parameters should be determined in the location of the target site, taking into account the ultimate goal of locating a site with the least harmful effects an environment surrounding the area and the surrounding natural environment has been studied. In spite of the numerous parameters in the selection of the ladder, for the purpose of optimal management of the time, cost and complex effects of the design, . Hierarchical analysis method was used by collecting and combining the information layers needed to determine suitable areas for landfill of Yazd metropolis. Each information layer and sub-layer were weighed out and the prohibited areas were deleted in the final map using the privacy layer. The final map of the four areas in the category was quite suitable. Due to the influence of the dominant wind direction in two areas, the best location for the burial was detected
